MOMMY
SIS. GREEN
Growing up in the Lord has it's perks. When you are in need, God will do just what he said that he will do. On Jan. 17, 2005, The Lord saw fit to call my Mom home to be with him. But in the middle 90's the family had started to lose her to Alzheimer's.
For me this was a trying time but the Lord was with me thought it all. If anyone is going through this at this time, You are in deed in my prayers. Having loss my Mom it was to me a Blessing. I know that does not sound quite right to some of you; but if you only know what this child of God had to endure. Her life went from being a hat maker, Sunday Best dresser to something that was not recognizable to me.
But God!
At the Home going I witness different family members crying and so fourth. But I had no tears to shed. When you belong to the Lord and know that the person is in a better place you tend to react in a manner that is in Alignment with the Word of God.
After the service ,Sis. Green came to me and embrace me. As she did I wanted to get away because I did not want to start crying. And if you know me, that was to close. I never let anyone in my space like that...
She held me so close and told me a few days later that she was doing what the Lord told her to do. Right up to this minute if I need anything at all, she is just a phone call away. I Thank the Lord for his grace and his mercy toward me.
Sis. Green is a Mother figure to and for me.
Glory! to God!
