GOD IS A KEEPER

Look at this,My heart was made glad today (July 3,2010) my,my ,my! I was going through some papers that I had stored since way before 2003. And I always wondered where this young lady would be today. As you see by the articles ,dated April 10, 1982, so that's 29 to 30 years ago. My son will be 30 this year and he was born in 1981. I am grateful for the Internet. I typed in her name, but the last name throw me off. You know mother's will always think of a grown up as still being a child, then my mind went " she may be married by now' ..."light bulb moment"...OK!!
The last name come up as "Black", giveS a website address for a Church. Then my soul got happy... went to it and I said "Glory to God!!"
Held the article Pic along side of the web pic, then I went to crying...that was a happy cry..... It does my spirit good to see young folks on fire for God. All I'm saying now if this young women was doing what she was doing at seven years old.....My God! I am so over joyed about this blog...I can't hardly contain myself....IT'S TIME TO SHOUT!!!

There is no need to wonder about her children........In Kirk Franklin's song "IMAGINE ME" just imagine having this lady Pastor Cee, has your mother.......Gifts:piano,song writer, composer, salaried organist and director....all at seven years old........there's nothing else to say.....
BUT: TO GOD BE THE GLORY!!!

**SO HERE IS WHAT I FOUND ON JULY 3RD 2010**
Pastor Cee
Pastor Ceandrys E. Black (God’s Prodigy – the name given by Tony Brown developer of Tony Brown’s Journal) is an anointed woman of God with ministry experience dating back to her early childhood years. She is not only known for her gifts in prophetic song and music, but her openness in counseling. This New Orleans native serves as the Co-Pastor of Living The Word Ministries. She works diligently in the service of the Lord with her husband, Pastor Raymond Black, III.
Women of Wholeness (W.O.W.) has been birthed from this vessel and has strongly impacted the lives of many women and propelled them into a closer relationship with God. Women are immediately drawn by her passion and unconditional love. “Women of Wholeness W.O.W.” is a ministry where women feel comfortable to express openly the secret matters of their heart. Pastor Cee boldly encourages women to dig into their past and address the hurts that cause so many to be guarded and hardhearted towards other women. This allows her God given vision for women to reach, release and restore their purpose and passion to be fulfilled.
Co-Pastor Black’s hunger to win souls for Christ is transparent through the life she lives for Christ. Her raw ministry sets an atmosphere where all can trust, bring down walls and become whole. This woman God’s prodigy truly exemplifies this name.
A mother of four; Raion, Raymond IV, Ranai and Ryan is truly a woman of power, strength and integrity. She is a friend and spiritual mother of many. Her sincerity and self-sacrificing compassion for others exhibits her belief that one must “Seek ye first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you.” Matthew 6:33

~ MY BEST FRIEND & ONLY FRIEND ~

~*~    A  VERY  SPECIAL  PERSON    ~*~

This photo that you see here to the right is a special person. She befriended me in High School. Long story short_ Not! ,I was picked out to be picked on. And she came to my aid and rescue. And from that day it was pure joy at that school until it was time to graduate. She came to my aid again. You see at graduation time all of the ones who made it to walk in the graduation, wore arm bands on the last day that they would be attending classes. I was not one of them that made it.

Needless to say I was more embarrass then ever. But "she" came to me and said "Come and go with me". We went to a senior student who was selling the arm bands and she purchased one for me.

Keryl Reed

THE ARM BAND

Pin it on my arm and said, no one has to know that you are not graduating. That in it self was amazing to me, because I did not have anyone that cared about anything that concerned me at the time.

I am still grateful for the friendship that transpired. As you know that when people grow up and move on, and loose contact; you began to wonder- where is ,and what happen to so and so.....

I went to Walgreens one day ( Friday-May 13,2005) and I was going in and a lady was coming out, I saw her briefly and I kept walking and I heard someone call my name,I turn around and looked and saw that smile. And this person said my name again. Then I said hers and was just amazing ; because I had been trying to find her for years.

As we came closer to each other we hugged and conversed, exchange numbers and addresses. Keryl invited me over, we found out that we were almost living in each other back door way. But through out the conversation I began to thank her for what she had done for me in school, for being there and being a friend when others just wanted to be mean and fight with me for no reason. She kept telling me "You don't have to say that!", I began to cry...and something just came over me because when I was looking at her I saw this real bright glow about her head...

a Halo, if you will.. I saw it all the way up until about 2am into Sat. morning , that's when I heard an ambulance go by my house..I could tell that someone was in distress and in bad shape by how fast the vehicle was going.

At that moment I began to Pray... "Lord, please look on the Family and Touch that person, Right Now !...in the Name of Jesus!

I was not able to sleep at all... I'll never forget it

Now let's go Spiritual here for a minute......

Sometimes I will speak a thing and it comes to pass........but I don't understand it all the time.

After our conversation...I got in my car and set there for a few minutes..still thinking about how long I had been trying to find Keryl.... then out of nowhere I said.....She sure is pretty; but she need to get that weight off of her...she going to have a heart attack....

I went to the Home going Service and that what happen she had a massive heart attack.

But get this part....

I stated that I had been trying to find her....RIGHT!

Well, I worked at a local White Castle in 2003. Three workers on my shift were very helpful when I started. And we worked very well together, and we'd talk to help the time pass. So the younger worker stated to share stories about school and so forth. So by me being older she asked about my schooling.

I shred and then ,I got to this story, but I never said Keryls' name.

OK!...get ready for this...

Go ^^^ back nine lines up...

The Home going Service.........

these co-workers were there at the Home going Service...

One was her sister and the others were her niece and nephew...

I was too through....

I had been working with her family. "IF" I ONLY HAD SAID HER NAME..

BUT I STILL THANK AND PRAISE GOD THAT I GOT THE CHANCE TO THANK HER  FOR WHAT SHE DID FOR ME.....

A TRIAL SERMON I'LL NEVER FORGET

~*~ IN MEMORY ~*~
William L. Jones
12/17/1934 ~*~ 12/17/2010

Better known to the family as "Billy", My memory is/momeies are .
Starting with the best one. Billy Preached his trial sermon in a week long service sponsored by the Youth of New Hope Freewill Baptist Church.

This was the first of many. When I asked him would he speak for this particular service he said, "Let me consult with the Lord about it."

See at the time, He was rooming at my Mom's house. So,I witnessed first hand of Prayer and Fasting.

This Brother stayed before the Lord.

And,My God! What a Message that was delivered.

I Thank God, for the message and the Messenger.
You see,

At the time this Brother, was not a member of the Body.

So he extended the invitation for discipleship, and sat himself in the chair........

Need I say More.....\o/

HE HAS BEEN CALL HOME / I'm goin' up yonder

My day has been sadden today, Due to the passing of this Gospel giant. For this is the era of my growing years. The songs of Bishop Walter Hawkins & Family, pull me right on through when I was in my low ebbs. I went through a lot in my young years, but at the end of the day I would take it to the Lord in prayer then top it off with my "Love Alive Album" and just sang until my heart was content.

That was my out let to get back on track. Music has always been my source of comfort. Music gives messages if we only listen to the words of a song and not just the beat or the melody, if you will. In fact this whole family has blessed my life through songs. And I Thank and Praise God for the messages from this messenger. I know heaven is happy right about now. This great man can help out the heavenly angels sing, Hallelujah to the Highest.......Glory! to God...

Walter Hawkins, a Grammy Award-winning gospel singer, composer and pastor from Oakland, died Sunday. He was 61. Hawkins, who was battling pancreatic cancer, passed away at his home in Ripon, California, his older brother Edwin Hawkins said. "Today, I lost my brother, my pastor, and my best friend," said Edwin Hawkins. "Bishop Hawkins
red bravely but now he will suffer no more and he will be greatly missed."

Born in Oakland, Hawkins studied for his divinity degree at the University of California, Berkeley.
While at the university, he recorded his first album titled "Do Your Best" in 1972.

The next year, Hawkins became a pastor and founded the Love Center Church in Oakland, where he also formed a choir. In the 1980s, Hawkins recorded a number of albums and earned nine Grammy Award nominations, according to friend and family representative, Bill Carpenter.

His "The Lord's Prayer" won a Grammy in 1980 and he also performed on the televised Grammy Awards ceremony that year. In 1990, Hawkins released "Love Alive III" which spent 34 weeks at the top on the Billboard gospel album sales chart, while going on to sell more than a million copies, according to Carpenter. In 1993 his next album, "Love Alive IV," also hit the top spot on the album sales chart. Between work on the two albums, Hawkins was ordained a bishop in October 1992.

At the time of his death, Hawkins was planning a new "Love Alive" CD concert recording for this fall.

Besides his brother Edwin, Hawkins is survived by four other siblings,

two children, two grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.

REMEMBERING "M J"

It's been one year. One year...that's still unbelievable. But it is a shame how the media is still spinning it. Focusing on the negative things in stead of celebrating the life of this man. I will always hold the song memories to heart. For it was my day and age of music. Having a musical background my self, It is, and what makes my day ,it is what helps to lift my spirits. Yes!...a good "old' song. Being that I'm not a fan of music of this day.. "rap"..enough said.

Some chose other out let's, but just start a song and you got my attention.
Yes, MJ's songs are of the secular world, but there is a message in them if you just listen....
My other genre is Gospel, but of course this entry is not about me.

So on that note...I want to thank the Heavenly Father for the life of
Micheal Joesph Jackson.... RIP! Musical Genius.
You will always be Loved & Remembered...

~ A TRUE FRIEND IN DEED ~

WHEN ONE FINDS A TRUE FRIEND.

THAT PERSON SHOULD BE CHERISH, AND YOU SHOULD SHARE WITH THAT PERSON HOW MUCH THEY MEAN TO YOU. BECAUSE WHEN THEY ARE GONE IT IS TO LATE TO DO THAT.

FRIENDS ARE SO FAR AND FEW SOMETIMES. I SPOKE WITH AN INDIVIDUAL AND THEY INFORMED ME THAT, ALL THAT THEY HAD BEEN THROUGH THERE IS NO REASON TO TRY AND FORM A FRIENDSHIP.

TO ME, I HAVE TO SAY THAT, I CAN UNDERSTAND HOW THIS WOULD COME TO ONE'S MIND. HAVING BEEN IN THIS PREDICAMENT MYSELF. BUT WITH MUCH PRAYER ONE IS ABLE TO HEAL. FROM WHATEVER THE SITUATION WAS, THAT GOT THEM AT THIS POINT.

IN THE SCRIPTURE IT TELLS US TO SHOW OURSELVES FRIENDLY.

** Prov. 18:24 **

UNTIL NEXT TIME!

SPIRITUAL MOM AND DAD

CINCY MOM AND DAD

QUEEN JOY-STAR WALKER

In 1985, I was Blessed to be introduced to this Pastor from Cincinnati ,OHIO. Not knowing that a lasting relationship would be formed. And she would become my Spiritual Mother. At the time in meeting her,I was in a place that I would not wish on anybody. I had no love for myself ,I held things of my past against myself. And Queen(who's affectingly known )spoke a word to my spirit one day. Before than I would not in no way would have had a blog,or any thing else.

On one of the many occasions that we would speak long distance. She let me Know that "You have to love the one you are with" and "That someone is you". See, I never thought of the problem being a lack of self love. I was never shown love. At least that I can remember. But I praise the Lord over and over for this relationship. In it I gain a Spiritual Father, Prophet Thomas Howell.

Prophet Howell has been a great Father figure for me. I was never close to my natural Father until the year before his death. But I'm thankful for knowing who he was. Some people has not even met their father.

Until Next Time....

A GOD SEND

MOMMY

SIS. GREEN

Growing up in the Lord has it's perks. When you are in need, God will do just what he said that he will do. On Jan. 17, 2005, The Lord saw fit to call my Mom home to be with him. But in the middle 90's the family had started to lose her to Alzheimer's.
For me this was a trying time but the Lord was with me thought it all. If anyone is going through this at this time, You are in deed in my prayers. Having loss my Mom it was to me a Blessing. I know that does not sound quite right to some of you; but if you only know what this child of God had to endure. Her life went from being a hat maker, Sunday Best dresser to something that was not recognizable to me.

But God!

At the Home going I witness different family members crying and so fourth. But I had no tears to shed. When you belong to the Lord and know that the person is in a better place you tend to react in a manner that is in Alignment with the Word of God.

After the service ,Sis. Green came to me and embrace me. As she did I wanted to get away because I did not want to start crying. And if you know me, that was to close. I never let anyone in my space like that...
She held me so close and told me a few days later that she was doing what the Lord told her to do. Right up to this minute if I need anything at all, she is just a phone call away. I Thank the Lord for his grace and his mercy toward me.
Sis. Green is a Mother figure to and for me.

Glory! to God!
