"Let all things be done decently and in order."
1 Cor 14:39-40 KJV
First Corinthians 14 : 26-40 is a portion of the Bible which speaks about Spiritual Gifts. The use of them, and how to operate in them. This entry today is in reference to the entry about the "Teacher Anointing the students and their desks".
In the Body of Christ, we have Ministers and Layperson who anoint individuals in services. We have Ministers, Missionaries, who go to Hospitals and Nursing / Convalescent Homes and Pray and sometimes Anoint while visiting.
And I'm sure we do have persons in our schools that regularly on a daily basis are in the classrooms Praying and Anointing in the room. But it's how there are doing it. And not being called out.
When I made the statement that this Teacher should have done what she was doing in the Spirit. This is what I meant....
The Bible tells us in,
1 Timothy 5: 22 Lay hands suddenly on no man.
My intend is not to take this portion of scripture and make it what I want it to mean.
But it clearly says : Lay hands suddenly on no man.
So in my opinion, She should have just inwardly prayed and use her mind to anointed in her thoughts. Which would have made a B-I-G difference.
She still had contact with the students by interaction and hands on through passing out papers. Asking questions, grading papers. Preparing test papers.......many avenues were available to her.
As a phase that is going around today....She should have thought outside of that (spiritual) box.
AND SHE WOULD HAVE NOT GONE THROUGH ALL OF THE HASSLE OF BEING REMOVED, EVEN THOUGH SHE REMOVED HERSELF FROM HER JOB.
